XXX 2 row: FIR lodged against Ekta Kapoor in Indore

Ekta Kapoor is under the cloud for a scene in her web series which has courted a string of controversies recently. After police complaints in Gurugram, Mumbai and Hyderabad, now an FIR is filed against the producer in Indore.

Indore: Ekta Kapoor's new web series XXX Uncensored 2 continues to hog headlines as Niraj Yagnik, a resident of Saket Nagar, has filed an FIR against the noted producer in Annapurna police station here.

Police have registered the FIR in regard to scenes of tearing of the uniform of Indian Army, serving indecent content and hurting religious sentiments. Therefore, the police took cognizance of the evidence present with the complaint, against producer Ekta Kapoor, series's director Pankhuri Rodrigues, writer Jessica Khurana, and other team members under sections 294, 298, 34, IT section 67, 68 and section 3 of the Emblem Act.

Kapoor's recently released web series XXX: Uncensored 2 is apparently on people offending spree as BJP MLA T Raja Singh, YouTuber Hindustani Bhau and saffron-clad men in Haridwar have raised questioned over its content.

On a related note, ex-army personnel too lodged a complaint in Gurugram's Palam Vihar police station raising objection over its allegedly inappropriate and vulgar content.
