Washington: The Netflix Original 'Queer Eye' has bagged four Emmy Awards on at the prestigious award ceremony held at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
The web series has grabbed the first award for the outstanding structured reality program and the second for outstanding casting for a reality program.
While the third award was honoured for the outstanding directing for a reality program, the fourth award was bestowed upon them for the outstanding picture editing for a structured reality or competition program.
Besides all these categories, the web series was also nominated for a few other categories including outstanding cinematography for a reality program and outstanding production design for a variety, reality or competition series.

In the aforementioned categories, 'Queer Eye' has faced tough competition from 'Life before Zero' and 'Saturday Night Live'.
The story of the series revolves around five individuals Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk and Karamo Brown who give makeovers to few people, particularly selected by their friends and family to boost their confidence.
This isn't the first time that the web series won the prestigious award.
In 2018, 'Queer Eye' won the outstanding structured reality program, outstanding casting and outstanding picture editing for a structured or competition reality program awards.
Initially released on February 7, 2018, the Netflix original series was renewed for a third season on July 2018, which eventually released on March 15, 2019.
In June 2019, Netflix renewed the series for a fourth and fifth season. However, only the fourth season was released on July 19, 2019.
