Mumbai: Actor Mandar Kulkarni who has worked in Marathi TV shows like Amhi Doghe Raja Rani and Radha Prem Rangi Rangli has allegedly molested a minor girl.
An FIR was lodged against Mandar at Deccan Police Station by the teenage girl who stated that Kulkarni promised her to launch her into the television and film industry.
According to the victim, she met the actor at an acting workshop six months back. However, Mandar approached the girl recently asking her to do an audition test for a TV show. He also asked the 17-year-old to get a photoshoot for the audition test while offering her to click her pictures for free.

As per reports, Mandar convinced the minor girl to come alone at his residence for the photoshoot. After clicking a few pictures, the actors asked the girl to get some clicks in a bikini.
During the photoshoot, the victim alleged that he also measured her clothes which took her aback. Following that, she returned home and told everything to her parents.
Henceforth, a case was registered against the actor who was taken to the police station immediately after the incident.
However, this is not the first time that Mandar is facing such allegations. Reportedly, the actor has earlier also been accused of clicking obscene pictures of girls.
According to a leading newswire, during the interrogation, Mandar defended himself, claiming that he is suffering from some medical condition which sometimes makes him lose his senses.
Meanwhile, the accused actor has been sent to judicial custody in Yerawada Central Jail.
