Haridwar: Ekta Kapoor's recently released web series XXX: Uncensored 2 is apparently on people offending spree as after BJP MLA T Raja Singh and YouTuber Hindustani Bhau, it now irks saints and priests here.
The religious men of the city have heavily come down on the web series over a controversial scene which they feel is disrespectful towards the Indian Army and an attempt to insult our soldiers.
In one of the scenes, an army officer's wife allegedly insults his uniform by making her boyfriend wear it in his absence, and then later, tearing off the uniform, she gets into bed with her lover.
Expressing their displeasure over the particular scene, Haridwar saints said that the content reflects Ekta's mentality and it also shows to what level the TV czarina can steep to run her empire.

Saffron-clad men also said that the content is an attempted to humiliate the image of Indian soldiers and it shouldn't be tolerated. Social worker JP Badoni said that poor in taste content is being sold under the name of modernity and such practice may prove fatal for the society if not stopped today.
As reported earlier, Hindustani Bhau had filed a police complaint against Ekta and Shobha Kapoor at Mumbai's Khar Police Station over the same scene.
The controversial scene has landed the makers in a spot, what with as Twitterati was responding to the hashtag #ALTBalaji_Insults_Army all through on Tuesday.
On May 19, Goshamahal BJP MLA T Raja Singh had filed a complaint with Hyderabad police for the same reason.
XXX Uncensored 2 is produced by Sakett Saawhney’s Ekomkar Pictures and is streaming on ZEE5 and Ekta's ALTBalaji.
