Washington D.C: American singer Miley Cyrus and actor Kaitlynn Carter who were in talks for their social media PDA's and budding romantic relationship have decided to part ways.
According to a leading newswire, despite their split, Miley and Kaitlynn chose to remain friends.
Confirming the end of their love-affair, the source added, "They've been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated," the insider adds, "but they're just not in a romantic relationship anymore."
The news comes one week after the 26-year-old singer and the actor were spotted out in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Reportedly, Miley and Kaitlynn had been spending quality time together since announcing their splits from their respective husbands and they lived together in Los Angeles.
Earlier, the duo was spotted twinning in same colour outfits at the New York Fashion Week.
The pop singer along with Carter was partying at Deryck Todd's earlier this month where they sat in a semi-private clubhouse along with their buddies.
Cyrus and Carter's romance rumours came a day before a leading US news outlet confirmed that Hannah Montana star and her husband and actor Liam Hemsworth had parted ways after almost eight months of marriage. Hemsworth officially filed for divorce on August 21.
Before her relationship with the singer, Carter dated her 'Hills' co-star Brody Jenner for four years. The two tied the knot in Indonesia in June 2018. The two called it quits in August. The news came a week before Cyrus' make-out photos with Carter.
