Mumbai: 'Dangal' fame star Zaira Wasim's decision to quit Bollywood came as a shock to the entire film industry. Many celebrities supported the young actor while others didn't approve of it.
According to the latest reports, Zaira will not be a part of the promotions of her upcoming film 'The Sky Is Pink'. The makers were planning to begin the promotional activities by August end film ahead of the release on October 11.
However, Zaira's Instagram post evidently suggests that she won't be in touch with films in any manner. Hence, she requested the makers to excuse her from the promotions of the film.

Reportedly, filmmaker Shonali Bose and the team are all informed of her decision and they stand by her. Earlier, the production house even gave a statement that they will support Zaira in 'every way'.
On June 29, Zaira posted a lengthy statement stating the reasons behind her decision to quit Bollywood. The18-year-old said she is not happy with her current line of work, which has silently and unconsciously transitioned her "out of Imaan".
Zaira's decision to quit acting was received with surprise and remorse even by the people from different walks of life.
Some say that Zaira's decision should be respected if taken out of choice, while others feel disappointed if she has taken the decision due to any threat or fatwa.
