Mumbai: After Salman Khan announced the shelving of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah which was supposed to release on Eid 2020, speculations were rife that Kick 2 might replace it.

At a recent media interaction, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala put an end to all the speculations, saying, "I have just started writing it (Kick). It is not coming on Eid."

"I had gone to his place and he asked me, how much are you ready (to start the film). I said I have written one draft (of the script) and need at least three to six months to re-write the draft. So, I will be ready by Eid with the script," he said without mentioning the names.

Hence, this makes it pretty obvious that Kick 2 will not be Bhaijaan's Eidi to his fans for the next year as only the script will be ready by that time.
