Hyderabad: Bollywood star Kajol was spotted attending Durga Puja festivities in Mumbai on Tuesday. She got emotional over meeting her relatives after a long time. Several videos and pictures have been doing the rounds on the internet, wherein the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge star can be seen greeting her uncles at a pandal.
Kajol was all dressed up for the occasion. She chose to wear a vibrant pink saree. She tied her hair in a bun, and a beautiful necklace complimented her look. The captured moments of Kajol and her family members truly depicted how all of them missed the annual rituals.

On the work front, Kajol recently announced her upcoming film The Last Hurrah, which will be helmed by veteran actor Revathy. Inspired by a true story and real characters, The Last Hurrah tells a tale of an exemplary mother, Sujata, who battled the most challenging situations one can ever face with a smile. The film is currently in pre-production and will soon go on floors.
Talking about the film, Kajol earlier said that when she heard the story of The Last Hurrah, she could instantly connect with Sujata and she thought her journey was incredibly inspiring. "I think it's a beautiful journey and it deserves to be shared with everyone. And to have Revathy direct me for this story gives me more strength to play Sujata and showcase her strengths," she added.
