Farah Khan took to Twitter and asked the netizens to refrain themselves from circulating images of Sushant Singh Rajput's dead body on the internet.

Mumbai: Choreographer turned filmmaker Farah Khan expressed displeasure as the images of Sushant Singh Rajput's dead body are doing rounds on the internet.

Taking to Twitter, she asked the netizens to refrain themselves from circulating the said pictures of the deceased actor.

Expressing anger, Farah tweeted: "My friend #SushantSinghRajput has died tragically at a very young age!! STOP Circulating pictures of his death! This is a tragedy NOT entertainment!! Is this the world we live in now?"

Besides Tees Maar Khan director, television actor Aly Goni also urged people to stop circulating memes and the said pictures.

Sharing a video, he wrote: "Stop it guysss pleaseeeee. Help each other. #ripsushantsinghrajput."

Calling the act "insensitive" actor Meera Chopra wrote on Twitter: "Plz stop putting the images of the dead body. Its highly insensitive. Lot of media handles doing it. Plz plz delete them."

Earlier, the Maharashtra Cyber Police Department warned of legal action for circulating photos of Sushant's body. Taking to its official Twitter handle, it had asked people to delete pictures that have been already shared.

According to the post-mortem report, the 34-year old Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his residence in Mumbai.
