Mumbai: Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey-starrer Haseen Dillruba went on floors from today. Filmmaker Aanand L Rai is producing the movie through his banner Colour Yellow Production in collaboration with Eros International and Himanshu Sharma.
Anand took to Instagram to announce the commencement of Haseen Dilruba shoot.
"Great stories happens to those who can tell them 😊Congrats @polyvynil @kanika.d @vikrantmassey87 & @taapsee #Haseendillruba Shoot begins," wrote the Zero director alongside image of muhurat shot.
The film will be directed by Vinil Mathew, who is best known for 2014 romantic comedy Hasee Toh Phasee. Kanika Dhillon, the scribe of Manmarziyaan and Judgementall Hai Kya, has penned the script.

Earlier, Rai had said that the film is a murder mystery within a twisted love story. The filmmaker had also said that he has not explored the mystery genre yet and thus is looking forward to entertain and engage the audience with this edgy script.
The makers claimed that Haseen Dillruba is a perfect blend of entertainment and something which will cater to larger masses.
In Kanika's words, Haseen Dilruba is a love story with thriller element that revolves around a couple and it poses the question if the bond of love can stay strong enough to survive the test of time? "It is a ‘bloody' love story, quite literally and metaphorically," Kanika said earlier.
Billed as edge-of-the-seat entertainer, Haseen Dilruba will hit the big screens on September 18.
