Mumbai: After actor Kangana Ranaut took a jibe at Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker by calling them 'B-grade actresses', the Badla actor has clapped back with a befitting reply.
In an interview with a leading portal, the Thappad actor said, "First of all, I don't think my existence has got anything to do with looks primarily. I don't have any film of mine which is produced by any of these gangs that she keeps targeting. I never mentioned anywhere that 'I like Karan Johar or anyone she alleges, but I have never said 'I hate them either'. So the fact that you don't hate someone she hates, is equivalent to you like that person? I don't even know him beyond formal, 'hi, hello's and thank you'. So how is this even logical?"
Taapsee further took a dig at Kangana's question of 'why Taapsee and Bhumi Pednekar don't get work?'.
The Pink actor said that she has been doing four films per year for the last 3 years and have five films announced, for now. "So, who says I don't get enough work! I decided to keep my career graph slow and steady, and that's exactly how it's been going," she added.

The Judwaa 2 actor continued, "None of my past or future films are being produced by any of that mafia she keeps mentioning then how is my existence because of nepotism? Or undermining someone's genuine achievements by crediting wrong sources and then mocking it is how you prove that you are a true successful outsider?"
Meanwhile, Taapsee also slammed Kangana of taking advantage of someone's death for personal vendetta.
"I refuse to be bitter. I refuse to take advantage of someone's death for personal vendetta and I refuse to make a mockery out of the industry that gave me bread and identity. I have had my share of struggles and just because I don’t glorify them or deal with them with a positive outlook doesn’t make me any less of the outside," she said.
Taapsee added, "Yes, I've been dropped out of films and replaced with star kids but the fact that she and her sister try to discredit me and my hard work, call me names, put wrong allegations on me is actually an equal level of harassment if not more. All this coz I refuse to sing her tune and because I refuse to see her as the flag bearer of outsiders, we all are not bitter people."
This isn't the first time Kangana and Taapsee have had a battle of words. Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel dubbed Taapsee a 'sasti copy' of the actor. In response, Taapsee told ANI that she will take Rangoli's statement as a compliment for she believes Kangana is a great actor.
