Hyderabad: SS Rajamouli is gearing up to resume the shooting of his next big project RRR. His team recently went on a recee to some ancient forts in Nalgonda where they plan to shoot crucial scenes featuring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, reports suggest.
According to reports, the filmmaker is keen to shoot the remainder of the flick in and around Hyderabad.
"Keeping the COVID-19 outbreak in mind, Rajamouli is keen to shoot the remaining portions of the film in and around Hyderabad. For that purpose, he is now determined to complete a major schedule at an ancient fort, which stands as an epitome of royal elegance and architecture in Nalgonda, where he also owns a farmhouse at Kattangoor village," a source said to a leading portal.

Apparently, the shoot will resume in August. The film stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles.
The period drama narrates a fictitious tale based on the life of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Produced at an estimated budget of Rs 450 crore, the film was likely to hit cinemas on January 8, 2021, however, the possibilities of rescheduling the release date can't be denied following COVID-19 scourge.
