Bollywood's King Khan turned nostalgic on hearing US Navy Band members sing 'Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera' which was composed by Academy Award winner AR Rahman for the 2004 film 'Swades' helmed by Ashutosh Gowariker.

Hyderabad: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan took to Twitter feeling nostalgic on hearing a rendition of 'Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera' by the US Navy Band after a video of the same was shared by Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the Indian Ambassador to the United States.

The members of the US Navy band sang the song at a dinner event held for the US Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Michael M Gilday and the Indian Envoy Taranjit Singh Sandhu in the US.

Reacting to the tweet, Sharukh tweeted, "Thank u for sharing this sir. How lovely. Git all nostalgic about the time spent making this beautiful film and belief sung in the song. Thanx @AshGowariker@RonnieScrewvala @arrahman & everyone who made it possible."

The iconic song 'Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera' is from the film 'Swades' directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. 'Swades' was the first Indian film to be shot inside the NASA headquarters and inside the NASA research centre at the Launch Pad 39A of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. While, a major part of the film was shot in Menawali, Maharashtra.
