Gaya (Bihar): Bollywood actor, Sonu Sood has come forward and offered help to the 'Mountain Man' Dashrath Manjhi's family, who was reportedly suffering from financial needs.
When one Twitter user, Ankit Rajgadhiya approached Sood with the help of the article, wrote, "This is the situation of 'Mountain Man' Dashrath Manjhi's family today. They are struggling to meet financial ends and need your help."

Soon, Sonu Sood replied writing, "They will no longer have to rely on others for financial help. I will help them today itself."
After hearing this news, people of Dashrath Manjhi's village, Gasaur, delighted with the announcement of help by Sonu Sood and thanked him for supporting in such a gloomy situation.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Dashrath Manjhi's son Bhagirath Manjhi said," We had taken a loan of Rs 30,000 for the medical treatment of my 2-year-old granddaughter. However, the kin are now urging the government to help for the treatment. It has been a while since I have no work in hand and the trouble increased when my granddaughter met with a road accident a few days back. We are so happy that Sonu Sood, a well-known artist in the film world, came to know about us and he has agreed to help us.
"I am thankful to him for helping us. Sonu Sood Ji once come to my house, and see in which situation we are staying," Bhagirath said.
"Our family is in a very difficult situation right now. In such a situation, we thank those who are helping us. Some people also came yesterday and gave us 2 sacks of wheat and 2 sacks of rice. Sonu Sood has also said to help us, we are thanking him, said Anshu Kumari, Granddaughter of Manjhi.
Notably, Dashrath Manjhi made a way by cutting the mountain on his own in love with his wife. He was also made the film ‘Manjhi: The Mountainman’ in which Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte played the lead roles. Dasaratha Manjhi was a resident of Gaya district of Bihar, his family is still living life in poverty in the village.
