Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has recently turned down an Ayurvedic weight loss endorsement campaign which was worth Rs 10 crore.
The actress was offered a lump sum deal to promote Ayurvedic slimming pills for weight loss. Shilpa who is widely known for advocating healthy lifestyle turned down the offer saying that she can't sell products that she does not fully believe in.
Speaking about dropping down the offer, Shilpa said, "I can't sell something that I don't believe in."
"Slimming pills and fad diets can be tempting since they promise instant results, but nothing beats the sense of pride of being committed to your routine and eating right," she further stated.
Advocating a healthy lifestyle, Shilpa concluded by saying: "A lifestyle modification works so much better in the long term."
The actress who has been on and off camera for a while now is planning to return to big screens after a break of 13 long years.
If reports are to be believed, Shilpa will mark her Bollywood comeback with 'Nikamma' starring Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia.
