Sanjay, Rana join starry cast of 'Bhuj: The Pride of India'

The T-series honcho Bhushan Kumar who is bankrolling 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' took to Twitter to announce the stellar cast of the much-awaited film on Wednesday.

Hyderabad: After taking Ajay Devgn on board, the makers of 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India' also roped in actors like Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati, Parineeti Chopra and Ammy Virk.
The T-series honcho Bhushan Kumar who is bankrolling the film took to Twitter to announce the stellar cast of the much-awaited film on Wednesday.
The film will be helmed by Abhishek Dudhaiya and will be based on real-life events during the Indo-Pak war of 1971.

Ajay will be playing the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, in charge of Bhuj airport during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

However, the roles of the other actors on board have not been disclosed.

Meanwhile, Karnik was reportedly in-charge of the Bhuj airbase during the 1971 war, which remained operational despite facing heavy bombing from Pakistan. He was accompanied by 50 air force and 60 defence security personnel at the airbase.
