Bengaluru: A new explosive information regarding Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani accused in the Sandalwood drug scandal has surfaced that claims she has converted to Islam and rechristened herself 'Maahira'.
Arrested by the Bengaluru Police in connection with the Drug consumption and peddling case, Galrani had pleaded for bail.
Corroborating the information an affidavit of the Muslim Religious Center has also confirmed that Sanjjana has changed the name to Maahira after converting into Islam.
