Mumbai: A video of superstar Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma is going viral on social media platforms. In the clip, Arpita is seen smashing plates in a restaurant. Reportedly, the video is from Arpita's one of the trips to Dubai.
In the highly circulated video, Arpita is seen smashing the plates but not in anger. She was apparently at one of the Greek restaurants where smashing the plates is a part of their offering. According to Greek customs, plate breaking is a way of fooling evil spirits into thinking that the event was a violent one instead of a celebration.

Enjoying the Greek tradition, Arpita smashed a lot of plates and later joined a group of women who too were part of the celebrations. The ladies then gather around and danced while smashing the plates on the floor.

Arpita is youngest among Khan siblings and the superstar had once said that she is the centre of his universe. She is married to Ayush Sharma whom Salman launched in Bollywood with 2018 release romantic drama Loveyatri.
Ayush and Arpita exchanged marital vows at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad on November 18, 2014. On March 30, 2016, the couple welcomed their first bundle of joy, Ahil. During her second pregnancy, Arpita wanted her baby to be born right on Salman's birthday and hence she opted for a C-section on December 27 in 2019 and delivered a baby girl whom they have named Ayat.
