The video features Salman singing the soft romantic song amid the glimpses of the lead pair Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl depicting the initial phase of their adorable love story.

This is the second time that Salman has lent his voice to a song. Earlier, the 'Tiger Zinda Hai' star has sung 'Main Hoon Hero Tera' from his home production 'Hero' which was fairly liked by the audience.

Composed by Vishal Mishra, the lyrics of 'Main Taare', penned by Manoj Muntashir, suggests a common lover with no special abilities smitten by love.

Reportedly, 'Main Taare' is the same track for which Pakistani singer Atif Aslam was replaced after the nationwide ban on Pakistani artists following the Pulwama attack.

'Notebook' marks the debut of Zaheer and Pranutan. While the former has no Bollywood connection, the latter is the granddaughter of veteran actress Nutan and the daughter of actor Mohnish Bahl.

Set against the mesmerizing backdrop of Kashmir, 'Notebook' which is bankrolled by Salman Khan Films is releasing on March 29.
