Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who is known for his muscular body was seen whipping himself with rope in his latest Instagram post.
The Dabangg star shared a video on social media in which he is seen interacting with the Potraj, a fast vanishing tribe that hail from the Western state of Maharashtra.
The tribe who are worshipers of a goddess that is referred to as Kadak Lakshmi whip themselves with ropes in self-flagellation ritual. The actor who saw them performing the act also tried to learn the tactics.
"There is pleasure in feeling and sharing their pain ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Baccha party don't try this on your self or on anyone else," wrote Salman alongside the video.
Soon after the video went viral, a YouTube channel carried out an apparent dubiousness report saying that the Khan who is known for his philanthropy and charity has donated Rs 1 crore to the Kadak Lakshmis.

Salman who is busy wrapping up Dabangg 3 has not mentioned the location where this particular video is taken.
As per reports, Salman was in Rajasthan for the last leg of Dabangg 3 shoot.
These days, Khan is in the news for his apparent fallout with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The filmmaker and actor were to reunite after almost two decades with Inshallah which got shelved since SLB could not entertain the suggestions to "alter the narrative" from actors.
Bhansali has not named any of the actors but the loud whispers suggest that he apparently could not accommodate Salman's creative inputs in his vision for the film.
Meanwhile, Salman has booked Eid 2020 slot yet again. Reports suggest that Salman will be bringing Kick sequel to continue the tradition of his Eid releases which he started with 2009 release Wanted.
