Mumbai: Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is gradually recovering from the surgery that he underwent after suffering acute pain in his leg. Actor's father Ranbir Hooda in a statement has said that Randeep will be discharged soon.
Randeep's father, who is a doctor by profession, in his statement to a leading webloid said that surgery went well. He also expressed gratitude for the well wishes that started pouring in on social media for Randeep.
"Thank you all for your concern. Randeep had a surgery yesterday. He is recovering and will be discharged soon. He is COVID-19 negative and the surgery went well so we will be able to take him home soon," said Ranbir to a leading webloid.
On Wednesday, the Highway actor was taken to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after he complained of severe pain in his leg.

On the film front, after the success of Extraction, Randeep is excited about the opening up of new horizons in international cinema for him. The actor has signed on his first American manager and is looking at exploring opportunities in the foreign shores.
Over the years, Hooda has proved his talent through films like Sarbjit, Highway, Laal Rang and Main Aur Charles.
Randeep entered Hollywood as Saju in Netflix's Extraction, starring Chris Hemsworth and David Harbour. Randeep has stepped out of his comfort zone to make an action-packed entry in the West.
In Bollywood, Randeep will be seen next in Radhe and Unfair and Lovely.
