Mumbai: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor will be romancing Shraddha Kapoor in the upcoming directorial venture of filmmaker Luv Ranjan. The unit is all set to take the film on floors with the first schedule which will kickstart in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Ranjan's yet-untitled next directorial will go on floors in the first week of January 2021. The film, which is also produced by Ranjan and Ankur Garg under their banner Luv Films, was earlier scheduled to hit the big screens on March 16, 2021, but will now be reworked as the shoot got delayed due to COVID-19 outbreak.
Luv Films has earlier delivered hit films such as Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and De De Pyaar De. With this Ranbir-Shraddha starrer Luv will be returning to the director's chair after the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety in 2018.

According to reports, most of the portions will be shot at a huge set which has been erected near Ranjan’s house. The unit will also shoot on some real location in Delhi. The script requires some portions shot abroad for which the team is planning an international shooting schedule which is still not confirmed due to pandemic.
Besides Ranbir and Shraddha, the film will also feature Dimple Kapadia in a pivotal role.
Ranbir, who was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju, will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji's ambitious project Brahmastra. Meanwhile, Shraddha has signed a three-film franchise based on the popular tele-series Nagin, to be directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Nikhil Dwivedi.
