Rajkummar Rao's father passes away at 60

Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao's father Satyapal Yadav passed away at the age of 60 on Thursday.

Gurugram: Rajkummar Rao's father Satyapal Yadav bid adieu to the world on Thursday. He was aged 60.

Satyapal who was hospitalized for the past 17 days breathed his last yesterday at Medanta hospital.

His last rites were performed on Madan Puri cremation ground on Friday morning at 10.a.m. in the presence of close friends and family.

Rajkummar's father was a government employee in the revenue department. His mother passed away in 2017 while he was shooting for Newton.

Earlier in an interview with a leading newswire, Rajkummar spoke about his family’s hardships while growing up. He said that his teachers paid his school fees for two years when he was going through a financial crisis.

On the work front, the actor was last seen in Judgementall Hai Kya alongside Kangana Ranaut. He will be next seen in Hansal Menta's upcoming release Turram Khan.

After 'City Lights' 'Shahid' and 'Omerta' Mehta and Rao are going to collaborate yet again for the much-awaited movie.

Announcing the film's release date on Rajkummar's birthday, Mehta wrote on Twitter: "Special people, a special film and a special day. Here's wishing our very own Rajkummar a very happy birthday and a special surprise. Our next film together 'Turram Khan' will release on January 31, 2020."

Produced by ADFFilms and Luv Films, 'Turram Khan' which also stars Nushrat Bharucha is presented by T-Series.
