Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who is ruling the screens for 43 years has said that he enjoys the process so much that he will quit acting when it starts feeling like a job.

Hyderabad: Malayalam icon Mohanlal, who is all set to return to screens as Georgekutty in Drishyam 2, has shared that even though he is in the film industry for more than four decades his enthusiasm and dedication for his craft haven't wilted and the day it does he will stop acting.

The trailer of Mohanlal starrer Drishyam 2 dropped on Sunday. While the release is only days away, the actor is busy promoting the film on various platforms. In one of his virtual interviews, Mohanlal was asked if there has ever been a moment or day in his illustrious career where it felt just like a job and was not exciting anymore. Without thinking much, the 60-year-old actor said, "When I feel this is like a job I will stop acting."

The multiple National Award-winning actor further said, "For me, every day is a new day. We actors are blessed because every day is a new day like new costumes, new dialogues, unrealistic things, fighting, singing...so many things are happening in an actor's life. Every day is a beautiful revelation."

"When I start thinking, 'O God this is like a job and why I want to do this,' that moment I will stop acting. I promise," said Mohanlal.

Coming back to Drishyam 2, the trailer suggests that the story begins from where the first part ended. The film promises to come back with a more thrilling plot. The trailer gives a glimpse of it, where the viewers are introduced to the world of Georgekutty (essayed by Mohanlal) and his family, and how their lives have altered post that one fateful night.

Drishyam 2 will release on February 19 on Amazon Prime Video.
