Mumbai: Mimi Chakraborty gave a strong reply to the toxic trolls which flashed in the social media. Chakraborty, who is a newly elected Member of the Parliament from Trinamool Congress, expressed her opinion and believes "not in saying much, but delivering." She ignored the trolls stating that they have nothing else to do.
The recently elected MPs, Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan, were trolled badly because of their picture updates on various social media platforms.
The centre of focus was their western attire in front of the parliament which was unacceptable for many.
Mimi uploaded a picture where they displayed their ID proof on Twitter and quoted, "And it's us again. First day at Parliament Nusrat Jahan".

Chakraborty said she had received immense love and warmth of people. "If a woman MP's choice of clothing becomes a topic of a heated debate, then all the talk of women empowerment is rubbish. People just like to talk about equality, but it is difficult for them to see any change," she said.
After the criticism, Chakraborty expressed that she is looking ahead for her term in Parliament and emphasized on the fact that she has her plans ready and has sorted the areas, she wants to focus on.
She said, "I would be visiting my constituency next month so that I can get a first-hand idea about the issues."
The online trollers commented that Parliament is not a film set while others advise her not to shame Bengal and stop the whole drama.
A Twitter user stated, "Think people have voted both of you for solving their problems, not for a photo shoot in front of Parliament. You just think what would have happened had the heroes of our freedom struggle seen this....!"
While another user was interested to know about the work they had done in the constituency and also about the number of debates they will be able to attend in the Parliament.
Chakraborty contested from Jadavpur and won with a huge margin of 2,95,239 votes, while Jahan contested from Basirhat Lok Sabha seat in West Bengal and won by 3,50,369 votes.
