Chandigarh: Actress turned politician Kirron Kher fell on her way to cast vote on Sunday. However, she regained herself and participated in the electoral procedure. Her husband and actor Anupam Kher was also present at the moment.
The polling booths are open since 7 am in the morning and the percentage of voting till 12 pm is 22.30 in Chandigarh.
After casting her vote, BJP candidate Kirron ensured her victory saying that she is 500 per cent confident about winning the elections.
Earlier on Saturday, BJP MP Kirron lost her calm over a pamphlet being circulated by her Congress rival Pawan Kumar Bansal.
Reportedly, Kirron threatened to punch her opponent for distributing a pamphlet allegedly listing her fake achievements.
Furiated Kirron also posted a video on Twitter responding to Bansal's fake pamphlets calling it a 'cheap act'. The leader tore the pamphlet at the end of the video saying people are smart enough to know what is right or wrong.
