Mumbai: Bollywood actress Katina Kaif on Tuesday took to her social media to introduce Akshay Kumar's character from their upcoming film Sooryavanshi.
Helmed by the Golmaal director Rohit Shetty, the film will feature Akshay and Katrina in the lead roles.
Sharing an image of the badge pinned on a police uniform, the Dhoom 3 actress wrote on Instagram: "Now Shooting #sooryavanshi #onset."

From the badge, it apparently looks like Akshay's character in the film will be called as Veer Sooryavanshi.
The actress has been in Hyderabad for quite a while now shooting her part for the film.
With Akshay and Katrina starrer Sooryavanshi, director Rohit Shetty has taken another step forward to expand the cop universe after Singham and Simmba.
In the climax of Ranveer starrer Simmba, audiences were teased with the entry of Akshay's character as an Anti-Terror Squad chief.
If news reports are to be believed, the cop-thriller will bring Drishyam actor Ajay Devgn and the Gully Boy star Ranveer Singh for cameos.
The Dil Dhadakne Do star who has already left for Hyderabad will be filming his scenes soon.

For the first time, the film will mark the collaboration of the Mission Mangal actor and the Chennai Express director.
Besides Akshay and Katrina, the cop thriller will also star Gulshan Grover and Sikander Kher in pivotal roles, among others.
Jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films, the much-awaited action drama is scheduled to hit the big screens on March 27, 2020.
