Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan wrapped up shooting of upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha while she was five months pregnant. The actor has opened up about working throughout her second pregnancy with the COVID-19 crisis looming large over the nation.
Talking about having a pregnant co-star on the set during the pandemic, Aamir had earlier said, "While the rest of the world was dealing with Corona, we were dealing with Corona and Kareena who was the heroine of the film, she got pregnant, another complication so we are like one more gust of wind has pushed us in another direction."

When Kareena was asked about the same, the actor in conversation with a news channel revealed that she used to commute every day from her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan's hometown Pataudi (Haryana) to Delhi for Laals Singh Chaddha shoot as she did not want to leave her son Taimur Ali Khan behind.
"We had a comfortable shoot. I used to commute from Pataudi to Delhi, because I had requested Saif to come with me, because Taimur was also with me and I wanted him to feel comfortable," she said. "I had an hour and half journey in the car every day and we shot late nights mostly," Kareena said.

The actor said that she was worried about the safety of her baby and was "constantly in touch with her gynecologist" during the filming of Laal Singh Chaddha. On a lighter note, the actor also talked about Jeh being a part of Laal Singh Chaddha and said: "So, my son is practically in Laal Singh Chaddha. He is in the romantic song with Aamir and me."

Aamir and Kareena aside, Laal Singh Chaddha also Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya who plays the role of an army officer. Being produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Paramount Pictures, Laal Singh Chaddha has already completed most of the shooting in Srinagar, Ladakh, Kargil, Chandigarh and other locations. Directed by Adavit Chandan, the film is adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which was based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name.
