Mumbai: Chiranjeevi Sarja, a popular name in the Kannada film industry passed away today. The 39-year-old actor was rushed to hospital on Saturday after he complained of severe chest pain and respiratory problems.
Chiranjeevi, the nephew of Kannada superstar Arjun Sarja, was being treated at Sagar hospital in Jayanagar in Bengaluru. The young actor suffered a heart attack and breathe his last in the hospital while undergoing treatment.

Reports also suggest that Sarja's throat swab sample has been sent for testing post his demise.
The actor is survived by his wife Meghana Raj, who is also an actor. The couple had tied the knot in 2018.
The actor who entered the filmdom with movie Vayuputra in 2009, went on to act in more than 22 movies in his career spread over a decade.
