Mumbai: Rewinding the special memories of her 1993 film 'Gumrah', Soni Razdan on Wednesday said that her prime focus was on the character of the film she was portraying, and that she was not aware of her being pregnant.
Soni Razdan, mother of Alia Bhatt, played a pivotal role in 'Gumrah' what many today considered as the defining movie of the time.
Soni tweeted, "One of my favourite films and highly appreciated roles... I was pregnant with Alia at the time and didn't know it yet. And did that scene where I smoked so many cigarettes."
'Gumrah' was helmed by Mahesh Bhatt and featured late Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.
Remembering Sridevi, the veteran actor tweeted, "It was a pleasure to act with the incredible Sridevi. Highly cherished memories.”
