Has Kangana Ranaut become Bollywood's can of worms?

Kangana Ranaut has been calling out Alia Bhatt since earlier this year for not supporting her film 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'. The actress then vowed to expose everyone in Bollywood for ganging up against her. After crowning Karan Johar as 'flagbearer of nepotism' and calling Hrithik Roshan a "silly ex", her latest target seems to be the Bhatt family of Bollywood.

Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut is turning into an epicenter of controversies in the tinselville. The actress, who is known for not mincing her words and holding her own while calling out a few of Bollywood's heavyweights, is currently busy spewing venom on Alia Bhatt and her family. Going by the startling statements which she and her sister Rangoli Chandel recently made, Ms Ranaut is apparently determined to rip open a Pandora's box of unintended consequences.

If Kangana's tirade against Alia wasn't enough, Rangoli entered into the 'war of words' zone, as did the 'Raazi' actress' mother Soni Razdan.

Kangana has been calling out Alia since earlier this year for not supporting her film 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi', and had claimed this was all a part of a "strange sort of racket" in a section of the film industry. She had also called Alia a product of Karan Johar's "nepotistic gang".

The actress who has been raising her voice to fight sexism, pay disparity and nepotism, has vouched to expose everyone in the Bollywood.

Kangana Ranaut vows to expose ‘Bollywood gang’

The 31-year-old actress, who had sparked the infamous debate by calling filmmaker Karan Johar a "flagbearer of nepotism" during her appearance on his chat show 'Koffee With Karan' in 2017, labelled Bollywood celebrities as shameless.

Kangana has made several references regarding Alia, the latest being over her "mediocre" performance in the otherwise widely lauded 'Gully Boy'. Interestingly, Kangana has apparently forgotten how much praise she heaped on Alia for her performance in 'Raazi' and had also crowned her as the "Undisputed Queen" of Bollywood.

But, this my friend is the fickle world of make-believe where equations change in a blink of an eye!

While the 'Highway' actress has apparently chosen not to react to Kangana's provocative comments, the social media went agog with the reactions from Alia's fans who compared Kangana with Rakhi Sawant, who is known for making headlines for the most unexpected reasons.

Alia Bhatt says, Can't speak as candidly as Kangana but I do have an opinion

Post 'Manikarnika' row, Kangana had apparently received praise for her directorial debut and flak for taking away the first credit as the film's director from Krish. Not only Krish, but few co-stars too had fallen out with the ambitious actress. When Sonu Sood walked out of 'Manikarnika', Kangana was accused of playing the gender card unjustly and blaming Sonu of male chauvinism.

The list of celebs who were at Kangana's target is long. Her legal battle with alleged ex Hrithik Roshan had sent shock waves across the nation. When she had alleged that filmmaker Vikas Bahl made her feel uncomfortable on several occasions while shooting for 'Queen' was also apparently seen as a grudge-fueled action since Bahl's film 'Super 30' with Hrithik was about to release.

Coming from a small hilly town to reach where she is today speaks a volume about the terrific talent that Kangna is. But, there is visible negative cacophony that surrounds her and apparently compels people to think what makes the actress go on a slamming spree?

Was it just that Alia did not extend support for 'Manikarnika', or that she was launched by KJo, or that she was born in a filmy family or the insult that Mahesh Bhatt made her go through in her initial days that Ms Ranaut is constantly attacking Ms Bhatt?

Well, only Kangana can answer what actually bothers her as far as her bitterness towards Alia is concerned.

There is no denying that being vocal in a timid industry comes with its own pros and cons.

Kangana is lauded for her upfront attitude and unabashed thoughts. However, there is a popular view in the industry that the chaotic noises around Kangana only mutes out her really commendable achievements.
