Assam: The 65th Filmfare awards will be held at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in the capital city Guwahati on February 15. The event will be hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Vicky Kaushal.
Many B-town celebs will be papped attending the biggest Bollywood award event of the year.
According to sources, twenty-four Bollywood celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, Karthik Aryan, Rajkumar Rao, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ali Fazal, Manish Paul, Suraj Pancholi, Ayushman Khurana, Sujoy Ghosh, Anubhav Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Bhumi Pednekar, Taapsee Pannu, Janhvi, Parineeti Chopra, Pooja Hegde, Sunny Leone, Radhika Apte, Ananya Pandey and Richa Chadha have been finalized.
Preparations for Filmfare has started with a bash. Meanwhile, many celebrities including Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, actors Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Karthik Aryan and Madhuri Dixit, have left for Assam.
The films which have received nominations are Chhichhore, Gully Boy, Mission Mangal, Uri: The Surgical Strike and War in the Best Film category. At the same time, Article 15, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, Photograph, Sonchiriya and The Sky is Pink has been ranked in the Best Film Critics' Choice.
Akshay Kumar (Kesari), Ayushmann Khurrana (Bala), Hrithik Roshan (Super 30), Ranveer Singh (Gully Boy) Shahid Kapoor (Kabir Singh) and Vicky Kaushal (Uri: The Surgical strike) will have been nominated for the Filmfare Best Actor award.
Alia Bhatt (Gully Boy), Kangana Ranaut (Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi), Kareena Kapoor Khan (Good Newwz) Priyanka Chopra (The Sky is Pink), Rani Mukherjee (Mardaani 2) and Vidya Balan (Mission Mangal) are nominated in Best Actor Female category.
