After waiting for nearly one month, the makers have unveiled the trailer of Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Dil Bechara. Film's female lead Sanjana Sanghi took to her social media handle and announced the trailer release.

Mumbai: Hold your breath ladies and gentlemen, the trailer of Sushant Singh Rajput's much-awaited film Dil Bechara has finally dropped in on Monday leaving fans and admirers wailing over Sushant's lingering memories.

The 2 minutes and 44 seconds long trailer opens with a narration of Sanjana Sanghi, the film's female lead.

"Meri naani bachpan mein aksar mujhe yeh kahani suanaya karti thi - 'Ek tha Raja ek thi Rani dono amr gaye khatam kahani'," jabs right at the heart as it draws a reference to Sushant and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta.

The much-hyped trailer introduces Sanjana's character Kizie Basu and Sushant's quirky Manny.

Kizie and Manny's "un-fairy tale" of love gives us hope.

The trailer leaves the audience humming to its tune "Dil Bechara, friend zone ka mara..."

Taking to Instagram, Sanjana posted: "Here’s presenting to you, our labour of love."

As there is a sense of excitement buzzing within the fans, there is also a feeling of permanent loss among the audiences and obviously among the entire team of the Dil Bechara.

It has been nearly a month that the Kai Po Che! actor has left for the heavenly abode and it seems like nothing can fill the void that his departure has created.

In the midst of such a grief-stricken context, the trailer comes as a breath of fresh air. An emollient to the wounds that just does not stop bleeding.

As there will be pangs of grief for not being able to see him again on screen, there will be this crazy maddening sea of people embracing the enthusiasm of the actor and celebrating Sushant who promised to give us more.
