Big B, Sonam, Salman extend Ramadan wishes to fans

As the holy month of Ramzan has begun, several Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Huma Qureshi among others took to their social media handles to send out warm wishes on the auspicious occasion.

Mumbai: Scores of popular faces from Bollywood including superstar star Salman Khan, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Emraan Hashmi and Sonam Kapoor among others have extended heartfelt wishes to fans on the onset of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Shahenshah of Hindi cinema Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and conveyed his love for fans: "Ramadan Mubaarak... wishes for peace and love... and be safe..."

Veteran actor Anupam Kher wrote on Twitter: "#RamadanMubarak!! Love and peace always."

Extending Ramadan wishes, Sonam Kapoor posted one of her pictures on Instagram. Alongside the photo, she wrote: "Ramadan Kareem my brothers and sisters. Ramzaan mubaarak."

The Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai actor Emraan Hashmi also took to Twitter to wish all the happiness to his fans. He wrote: "This Ramadan may God bless you with health and happiness. #RamadanMubarak."

The Badlapur actor Huma Qureshi penned a heartfelt note along with sharing one of her pictures on Instagram. Her post read: "They are saying Saturday is the first Roza!! Ramadan is almost here !! Praying for everyone in these difficult times... Shared compassion, service, and support for one another is the need of the hour."

Singer and pianist Adnan Sami also posted a video on Twitter and wrote: "The Azaan ( Azan / Adhan ) recited by me. #Ramadan Kareem!"

Actor Vikrant Massey who rose to fame with Deepika Padukkone starrer Chhapaak tweeted: "All my Muslim brothers & sisters, RAMZAAN KAREEM!!!"
