Mumbai: Ayuhsmann Khurrana's latest release Bala got rave reviews from the critics and the film is getting equally good response from the audience and consequently has registered two digit business on it's opening day.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share Bala's first day box office report. With the collection of ₹ 10.15 cr, Bala has surpassed the opening day business of Ayushmann's superhit comedy Dream Girl which had took off with ₹ 10.05 cr.

Ayushmann, who has delivered six hits in a row is apparently standing on the cusp of delivering seven back to back with Bala, if the strong word of mouth and box office report is anything to go by.

The National Award-winning actor is known for batting on radical ideas and follows hits instinct when it comes to choosing film. Though with great success comes pressure of delivering, but for Ayushmann, back-to-back success of his films makes him more fearless and confident as an actor, and gives him freedom to take risks.
Bala revolves around a man living in Kanpur who suffers from premature baldness. The film's story is about his lack of confidence and societal pressure that comes with balding.
The film is directed by Amar Kaushik, who earlier made Stree, and also features Yami Gautam, Bhumi Pednekar, Javed Jaffrey and Saurabh Shukla in key roles.
