Mumbai: Bollywood's music maestro A.R. Rahman is all ready to set the stage on fire as the 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na' singer will be performing live at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

His film titled 99 songs will also be screened at the mega event on October 9, 2019.

The musical drama is produced and co-written by the Grammy and Oscar-winning musician.

Excited about the screening, Rahman said: "I am delighted to be a part of this amazing gathering of film enthusiasts and have the screening of our labour of love at BIFF."

He further added: "The film's music is very special and so integral to its story that I feel compelled to introduce it to audiences at this very special event before the screening."

Ahead of the red carpet screening of his musical romance, the Rang De Basanti music composer will be taking the stage for his much-anticipated performance on the same day.

Speaking about the much-awaited gala event, the Roja crooner said: "I'm looking forward to bringing them this celebration of cinema and music and can't wait for the reactions."

Helmed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, the film features debutant Ehan Bhat.

The singer-cum-music composer has been the recipient of several awards including Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri among others.
