Mumbai: Reacting to Hasan Minhaj's video on Patriotic act, actor Anupam Kher recently put out his reaction on his thought on Kashmir.
The veteran actor took to his social media to share a clipping of his video that addressed the historic genocide of Kashmiri pandit.
In the video, Anupam Kher said, "I am a Kashmiri Pandit. A believer in Indian values, a peace-loving and secular, educated, non-violent, law-abiding, patriot. I was thrown out of my house 26 years ago. This is my story."
He further added, "By 1989, terrorists were all over Kashmir and the state government had given up all its responsibilities. There was no administration or law."
Sharing the video on Twitter, he wrote, "Dear @hasanminhaj !! I enjoy your act. Feel happy that an India born is capturing great audiences. Saw your latest clip & concern about Kashmir. Would love you to see another truth about #Kashmir. This is in Hindi. Hope you understand it. Thanks."

In a recent episode of Patriotic Act Minhaj talked about the situation in Kashmir and the imposition of Article 370.
He said that when he thinks about Independence and autonomy, he can't help but think about the people of Kashmir and everything that's going on with section 370.
In the video, Minhaj said, "Kashmir has been in this custody battle between India and Pakistan. They have been this political pawn used by both countries."
Posing concern about the eight-plus million people who live in Kashmir, he said, "There has been a communication blackout... It's really really terrifying and I'm scared because I think things are only gonna get worse and we were seeing an erosion of autonomy..."

He further stated that these two vestiges of the British imperialism are fighting for the right to be their own.
Minhaj concluded saying, "So, on India's Independence Day I'm thinking about the people of Kashmir who are fighting for their own Independence."
