Baahubali fame Prabhas' highly anticipated film Salaar went on floors in Hyderabad with muhurat puja today morning in presence of cast, crew and few special guests. The Prashanth Neel directorial is being billed as one of the most immaculate action films ever made.

Hyderabad: Makers of Salaar have taken the film on floors with muhurat puja on Friday which was attended by the cast and crew of the film and few special guests. The film backed by KGF makers is Prabhas' yet another pan-India film after the humungous success of the Bhaahubali franchise and Saaho.

Guests invited for Salaar muhurat puja included Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwathnarayan CN, filmmaker Rajamouli, and Kannada superstar Yash.

The Prashanth Neel directorial is being billed as one of the most immaculate action films ever made. Prabhas plays a violent character, something he hasn't done so far in his films. He is working to acquire a beefed-up look for the role. Talking about the same, Prabhas had earlier told a newswire that he is "really excited to start the shoot of the film post the muhurat puja" and looking forward to fans reaction on his look from the film.

Prabhas's other projects include the romantic drama Radhe Shyam with Pooja Hedge and Om Raut's period drama Adipurush. He recently also announced an untitled project that will co-star Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The multi-lingual film is backed by the South Indian production house Vyjayanthi Movies, popular for projects such as Mahanati, Agni Parvatam and Indra.
