Mumbai: Actor Akshay Kumar took to his social media handle to share the teaser of his upcoming film titled Prithviraj Chauhan on Monday.
With this film, the Khiladi actor and Yash Raj Films are set to unite all over again.
The historical drama will feature Bollywood's go-to actor in the role of a fearless king Prithviraj Chauhan.
Giving a glimpse of the film, the teaser is sure to hold the audiences' attention.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the actor wrote: "Truly happy to share the news of my first historical film on my birthday."

Calling it one of the biggest films of his life, Akshay added: "I’m humbled to have the opportunity to play a hero I look up to for his valour and values - Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan - in one of my biggest films #Prithviraj produced by @yrf. Directed by #DrChandraprakashDwivedi. #Prithviraj in theatres Diwali 2020."
The motion picture will be helmed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
Based on the life of the valorous king, the film is eyeing for a Diwali 2020 release.
Meanwhile, Akshay who turned 52 today has a few interesting projects lined up. Apart from Housefull 4, there are Good News, Sooryavanshi and Laxmmi Bomb aligned in the pipeline.
The actor who is gearing up for his next flick is basking in the success of his latest release Mission Mangal which has garnered appreciations from the audience at large.
