Hyderabad: Superstar Akshay Kumar's wife Twinkle Khanna on Monday revealed that the actor has recovered from coronavirus. Akshay was hospitalised after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Twinkle took to Instagram and posted a quirky caricature of themselves as The Simpsons. Sharing Akshay's health update Twinkle wrote, "Safe and sound and good to have him back around. #allizwell."

Akshay tested positive for coronavirus on April 4. The actor was hospitalised a day after being diagnosed with COVID-19. The 53-year-old star had shared the news on his social media, informing his fans that he has been hospitalised as a 'precautionary measure'.

Before testing COVID-19 positive, Akshay was busy shooting for his upcoming film Ram Setu. Along with him, 45 crew members from the sets of the film were also tested COVID positive, following which the shoot has been halted.
Apart from Ram Setu, the actor has several other exciting films in the pipeline including Housefull 5, Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi Re, Bell Bottom and Sooryavanshi.
