Hyderabad: Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan was all set to play a gangster in the Hindi remake of Tamil superhit film Vikram Vedha. The actor, however, is not keen to part of the project anymore.

The reports of Hrithik being roped in for the Vikram Vedha remake made headlines last December. Soon after, the actor joined hands with Disney+ Hotstar for adaptation of The Night Manager. Both the projects are reportedly demanding equal time from the actor which even led to the speculations that Hrithik will let go The Night Manager for Vikram Vedha. The latest buzz, however, suggests that Hrithik is actually considering bowing out of Vikram Vedha.

The lockdown also contributed largely to Hrithik losing interest in Vikram Vedha. According to reports, the makers had already worked out a schedule, locked the remuneration and everything was almost going as planned until the team started receiving signals about Hrithik thinking otherwise.
