Abhishek looking forward to sharing screen with Aishwarya

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who celebrates his 45th birthday today has shared that he is looking forward to sharing the screen space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as he really enjoys working with his better half.

Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is eagerly looking forward to the opportunities that would mark his professional reunion with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Abhishek and Aishwarya have starred together in films like Dhai Akshar Prem Ke (2000), Kuch Na Kaho (2003), Bunty Aur Babli (2005), Umrao Jaan (2005), Dhoom 2 (2006) Guru (2007) and Raavan (2010). It's been more than a decade since the two have featured in a film together.

The couple was expected to share the screen space in Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun but the project never took off. Abhishek however is hopeful of his onscreen reunion with Aishwarya. The Paa actor in his latest interview with a webloid has said he is looking forward to working with Aishwarya again. "Very soon, I hope. I really enjoy working with her. We get a lot fan-mail asking us to be together again on screen. We’d be more than glad to get together," said Abhishek.

Abhishek, who was last seen Anurag Basu's Ludo will next be seen in Bob Biswas, a spin-off of the 2012 hit, Kahaani. Bob Biswas marks the directorial debut of Diya Annapurna Ghosh. The film also stars Chitrangda Singh. In the spin off, Abhishek's look has been created keeping in mind that of noted Bengali cinema actor Saswata Chatterjee, who had played the character of the serial killer Bob Biswas in Kahaani. His upcoming OTT release is the film The Big Bull, based on the life of Harshad Mehta.
