STORYLINE:
UK Prime Minister Theresa May on Wednesday faced another difficult day in parliament, where MPs were to vote on whether to leave the European Union with or without a deal.
May's Brexit deal was rejected for a second time on Tuesday, leaving the country's planned 29 March departure from the bloc in chaos and doubt.
Last month, parliament passed a non-binding amendment ruling out a "no-deal" Brexit, and MPs are likely to repeat that verdict on Wednesday.
