Watch: Russian firefighters battling Siberia forest fire

Authorities in Siberia working hard to tackle forest fires which spanned a territory of 600,000 hectares across the Russian Province. Hundreds of firefighters and two planes have been deployed as part of efforts to put out the fires.

Siberia: Authorities in Siberia worked on Tuesday to tackle forest fires which has spanned a territory of 600,000 hectares across the Russian Province.

The Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk regions are said to have been worst affected with 36 fires being dealt with in the Irkutsk region alone.

Hundreds of firefighters and two planes have been deployed as part of efforts to put out the fires.
