London: Amid the mounting US-Iran tensions, UK has accused Iran of impeding its vessel in the Strait of Hormuz while the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) have denied the claims.
On Thursday, the British government said the Iranian vessels backed after receiving verbal warnings from a UK navy vessel accompanying the commercial vessel British Heritage.

Denying the UK claims, Tehran said that there were no encounters between Iranian ships and foreign vessels.
The oil tanker British Heritage was allegedly impeded by three Iranian patrol boats in the Strait of Hormuz.
