Hyderabad: The coronavirus pandemic has infected more than 6,01,06,417 and killed over 14,14,873 people across the world. More than 4,15,54,497 people have recovered so far.

The US is the worst-hit nation with cases more than 1,29,55,007 and fatalities over 2,65,891.

Russian authorities have registered a record number of coronavirus deaths for a second straight day. The government coronavirus task force reported 507 new deaths on Wednesday, the country's highest daily toll. The previous record of 491 deaths was reported on Tuesday.

After the two most senior Serbian Orthodox Church leaders died within a month after testing positive with the coronavirus, health experts and even hardcore believers are starting to worry. The spread of the virus within the largest religious group in the Balkans is getting more alarming by the day.
