Hyderabad: The coronavirus pandemic has infected more than 4,73,27,309 and killed over 12,11,421 people across the world. More than 3,40,36,107 people have recovered so far.
The US is the worst-hit nation with cases more than 95,67,543 and fatalities over 2,36,997.
India is in second position with cases more than 82,67,623. With a total of 8.2 million coronavirus cases during the pandemic, India is the second worst-hit country behind the United States. But it has been witnessing a steady fall in daily cases.
The virus has devastated the global economy, tested world leaders’ resolve, pitted science against politics and forced multitudes to change the way they live, learn and work.
