Hyderabad: The coronavirus pandemic has infected more than 4,06,51,472 and killed over 11,22,997 people across the world. More than 3,03,56,801 people have recovered so far.
The US is the worst-hit nation with cases more than 84,56,653 and fatalities over 2,25,222.
India is in the second position with cases more than 75,97,063 and deaths over 1,15,236.
They pointed out that people not wearing masks or maintaining distance during the upcoming festival season, combined with cold weather, could lead to a surge in cases.
Government has introduced new measures which include closing gyms and movie theatres and barring indoor dining in restaurants or bars. Government has also urged the people to follow the social distancing rule.
