Hyderabad: The coronavirus pandemic has infected more than 3,35,49,873 and killed over 10,06,379 people across the world. More than 2,48,78,124 people have recovered so far.
The US is the worst-hit country with cases more than 73,61,611 and fatalities over 2,09,808.
South Korea had seen a viral resurgence, mostly in the densely populated Seoul area since early last month. But its caseload has recently begun slowing after authorities enforced stringent social distancing rules. The anti-disease agency says 17 of the new cases were reported in the Seoul area.
India comes in second place in terms of cases which is more than 61,43,019 while the country's death toll is over 96,351. Health authorities have warned of potentially disastrous consequences if the virus spreads
