Azerbaijan releases video of Nagorno-Karabakh airstrikes

Azerbaijan's Defence Ministry has shared a video showing continued intense fighting on the frontline in Nagorno Karabakh region. It also claimed that the forces destroyed 22 pieces of Armenian military hardware, including 4 Grad rocket launchers and 10 cannons.

Nagorno Karabakh: Intense fighting continued on the frontline in Nagorno Karabakh late on Sunday and in early hours of Monday.

Azerbaijan's Defence Ministry said hostilities were taking place in the Agdam, Khojavend and Gubadli sectors of the conflict zone.

A video distributed by Azerbaijan's Defence Ministry on Sunday showed what it said were drone strikes against ethnic Armenian forces.

The ministry also claimed its forces destroyed 22 pieces of Armenian military hardware, including four Grad rocket launchers and ten cannons.

Defence officials in Nagorno Karabakh itself said its troops had prevented an attempt by Azerbaijani forces to advance in the southern sector of the frontline.

Nagorno-Karabakh lies within Azerbaijan but has been under the control of ethnic Armenian forces backed by Armenia since a war there ended in 1994.
